Pennsylvania and Government 2.0

Jack Dorsey, the chairman and creator of Twitter, just finished visiting our Nation’s capital to discuss the use of Twitter with members of Congress and the Senate, and individuals at various Federal agencies. While he is trying to answer questions about Twitter, and discover how politicians and governmental officials are using it, he was also being made aware of individuals in government who do not make use of other communication technologies, such as email, cellphones, and Blackberries. Resistance to new modes of communication is common in government, although that doesn’t necessarily mean that it is right.
